| How do I create an online
resume |
After you have signed up as a job seeker and
have activated your account you can create your online resume by clicking
on the create resume link in the quick link bar. The quick link bar will
appear after you have logged in.
Just fill in the required information and resume details and click submit
when you are finished. The Rich Text Editor allows you to format your
resume to your liking. You can also copy and paste your resume from
commonly used word processors.
You can edit your resume at any time by
selecting the edit link next to the resume title in MyTeleport.

| What are TeleportJobs fees and what do I
get for the fee? |
There are no fees for using TeleportJobs.
Job seekers can:
- Create up to 5 online resumes that can
be viewed by employers.
- Apply for any open job position posted
by employers.
- Receive invitations by employers if
they think that your skills are what they are looking for.
- Manage all of your resumes,
invitations, and applications in one easy to use place.
Employers can:
- Post open job positions that will be
searchable for 60 days.
- Invite candidates to apply to open
positions.
- Keep track of invitations and applications
using your management page.

| How do I invite a job
seeker to apply for one of my open positions? |
To invite a job seeker to apply for one
of your open positions just search through the resumes of job seekers to
find one that meets your criteria. When you are ready to invite this
person to apply just select one of your open positions from the drop down
list and click invite. The invitation will land in the job seekers
invitation in box.
You can manage the invitations that you
have sent in MyTeleport. The job seekers contact information will not be
visible until he or she has applied for this position. This is done to
insure the privacy of job seekers registered with TeleportJobs.

What browser should I use? |
TeleportJobs was developed and tested
with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 6.0 and Mozilla Firefox
version 0.9.2. TeleportJobs may work with other browsers but we do not
recommend browsers other than the 2 listed above. You can usually find the
browser type and version by selecting help and about in your browsers'
tool bar. You can download the current versions of IE and Mozilla Firefox
for free by using the following links:

Your resume(s)
|
You can manage the resumes that you have
created by using the links next to the resume. The following describes
what each link does.
- view
- This link brings you to the view resume page. This is what the
resume will look like to employers if you have made your resume
searchable. (Employers will not see your personal information until
you have applied to one of their open positions.)
- edit
- This link brings you to the resume so you can make changes.
- delete
- This will delete the resume. You will be asked to confirm whether
you want to delete the resume or not.
- ON/OFF
- These links will make your resume searchable by employers. ON makes
it searchable. OFF makes it non-searchable. (Your searchable resume
will be highlighted green.)
Only one of your resumes can be made
searchable at a time. However, you can create up to 5 resumes and apply to
open positions with any of the 5.

Invitations sent by employers
|
If you have one of your resumes
searchable employers may send you invitations. The invitation will have a
link to view the job post that the
employer has invited you to apply for. To apply all you have to do is
click on the link, look over the job posting to see if it looks like your
dream job, select a resume to apply with, and then click apply.
The archive
link removes the invitation from MyTeleport and puts it in the invitation
archive. You may want to do this if your inbox is filling up or the job
invited to apply for has expired or has been filled. You can view your
archived invitations at any time by clicking on the view
archived invitations link.
Jobs that you have applied for via
invitation will show an "applied" logo next to the job position
name.
Filled positions will be highlighted in
red.

Applications sent to employers
|
Applications that you have sent to
employers will list the job name and the name of the resume you used to
apply with if any. If you did not apply with a resume, the employer will
be able to contact you via email.
You can view
the job post or archive the
application just as you can with invitations. See
Invitations
sent by employers.

Your job posts |
This is where you can manage your job
posts. The following describes what the links next to each job post is
for:
- archive
- This link places a job post in the job post archive. You may want to
do this if you have filled a position or the position has expired.
- fill
- Use this link to fill a job position. Flagging a job post as filled
will prevent job seekers for applying for this position.
- view
- Click this link to view the job post as it will be seen by job
seekers.
- edit
- This link will allow you to edit the job post.
Job posts are active for 60 days. They
are not editable and will not be searchable by job seekers after they have
expired.

Invitations you have sent to job seekers |
After you have sent an invitation to a
job seeker for one of your open positions a record will be stored here. If
the job seeker has applied for this position an "applied" icon will show
next to the job seekers' name or ID#.
A job seekers name or contact information
will not be available until he or she has applied for one of your open
positions.
A link to view the invitees' resume will
be next to the invitation if the resume is active.
A link to
archive invitations is supplied to help manage your
invitations.

Applications you have received from job
seekers |
Active job seekers can apply to your job
open job positions. This applications are recorded in your application
inbox. A link to view the job seekers resume is available if the job
seeker has applied with a resume. If the job seeker has not applied with a
resume a link to the job seekers email address is available. You may
choose to contact the job seeker for further information.
You can archive your applications by
clicking on the archive link.
