Global Service Partners Line Maintenance Services (LMS) is expanding its service center network to the Charleston, SC, Air Force Base (CHS). This operations center will be based out of CHS. The CHS service center will offer on-wing engine support, including EcoPower on-wing engine wash services for both Charleston AFB as well as servicing regional commercial customers.
This position will be based at CHS and will offer exposure to military customers, commercial customers, suppliers, and a wide variety of aircraft and engines. The SCM will work directly with US Air force and comercial airline personnel in the delivery of on-wing services. The SCM will also lead the team in delivering EcoPowers seamless engine wash service. The candidate will be responsible for service center compliance with the safety, environmental, airport regulations and all US Air force requirements. The SCM will serve as LMS front-line, directly addressing the needs of the US Air Force and commercial customers.
In addition, the SCM will be responsible for identifying new line maintenance needs at CHS and within region and will be instrumental in growing the LMS service for various customers.
The Service Center Manager (SCM) position offers the job candidate a multi-faceted opportunity to build a service business from the ground up. While serving as the local leader of the LMS team, the SCM will manage the service center budget, schedule, staff, equipment, and facilities.

BS or associates degree in a technical field required.
The Service Center Manager must have broad knowledge of military & commecial operations and 10 years of engine line maintenance experience. The manager should be familiar with maintaining and operating heavy equipment around aircraft and ground support equipment. Experience supervising mechanics and managing personnel issues is required. The SCM should have demonstrated team-building and communication skills. Experience working directly with US military in managerial and/or staff positions strongly valued. A&P license required. The SCM should also have experience with boroscope inspections, engine changes.
This position offers an opportunity for an entrepreneurial person with strong technical skills to excel and grow as part of the EcoPower team. The SCM will be working in a rapid-growth environment and will have direct impact on the success of the LMS business in North America. Travel required.
