Job Description
Responsibilities:

* Develop new accounts in the Temple, Killeen and North Austin markets by targeting new opportunities and implementing sales strategies to secure new business directly through a select team of territory managers.
* Capitalize profits through effective pricing, product mix and account management (lines per order, order size, gross profits, and accounts receivable)
* Professionally and efficiently manage problems with accounts in order to maintain relationship, promote goodwill, enhance companys reputation, and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, pricing, services, market needs and competitors practices
* Accountable for management of customers account receivables and timely processing of payments
* Actively participate and network in industry organizations
* Establish action plan to realize immediate opportunities
* Manage and develop a strategic team of territory managers with targeted account, sales and gross profit goals.
* Implement and promote a team effort to secure new business through resource utilization with Procurement, Marketing, Operations and Brands
* Provide VP of Sales and Division President a weekly status report to include a results vs. Sales and Profit Plan as well as a comprehensive business plan
* Match customer/TM suitably to ensure strong relationship bond once new business has stabilized
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

* College degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
* 5 years of foodservice sales experience including experience as a Senior Level TM. DSM preferred.
* Strong sales, communication and presentation skills, including a demonstrated ability to secure new business
* Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
* Knowledge of Austin and surrounding areas
* Strong problem-solving, and organization/time management skills
* Computer skills including Microsoft application skills (Word and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:

* Bilingual (Spanish/English)
* Strong knowledge of foodservice products, product categories and vendor community
* Strong working knowledge of Power Point to facilitate presentation development
