Job Description
Promote sales and profit growth for product category thru effective category management
Oversee the daily activities of purchasing function for designated category including management of Buyer(s) and other assigned personnel
Manage service level, inventory, cost management and reduce slow/dead inventory
Respond to and resolve sales inquiries and issues pertaining to specific category
Make sales calls with TMs/customers
TM Training in Category
Special projects as assignedOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years foodservice purchasing experience Required
Excellent oral communication/presentation skills
Microsoft Office Proficiency with emphasis on ExcelWork Schedule is typically Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but must be flexible
