![]() District Manager- Las Veags![]() District Manager- Las Veags Requisition ID 27222 Full/Part Time Location Valencia, CA Description I. REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Director II. OVERVIEW As District Sales Managers for the West Region, you have full responsibility for the daily supervision and development of the field sales force. You are responsible for sales and service to our customers within the district; and for the generation of revenue and gross profit for the company according to the quota as determined and assigned to the district/region. III. COMPANY POLICY You are responsible for carrying out company policy with sincerity and integrity. We rely on you to oversee that company policy is followed down the line by each salesperson in your district. IV. SALES AND MARKETING OBJECTIVES You are responsible for attainment of sales objectives and increasing market share according to the quota set for your district. Your overriding responsibility is to oversee that your districts sales and marketing objectives are met, that each of your salespeople provide in-depth service to our customers in accordance with our marketing programs, and to help them achieve their quota. V. MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF SALESPEOPLE The majority of your time must be spent in the field motivation and developing the salespeople whom you are responsible for into strong, successful salespeople through ongoing coaching and counseling. You are responsible for the development of your people towards the achievements of their individual goals, be it promotion or their continued careers as salespersons. VI. COMMUNICATION Communication is vital to the success of our company. Communicate with your salespeople and your regional managers regularly, and keep them informed of developments through active interchange with all members of the team verbally and in writing, as required, on a timely basis. You are responsible for keeping senior management informed regularly about competitive activities and changes in the marketplace. VII. BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY Budget responsibilities include the preparation of proposed sales forecasts for the region on an annual basis and to reforecast as required. Control of travel and entertainment expenses for yourself and salespeople. Control of expenses for seminars and meetings. Control of discounts. VIII. TABLE OF ORANIZATION You are responsible for the hiring, development, and replacement of salespeople in your with the goal of maintaining the highest standards of the sales, service, and professionalism. You are responsible for keeping your region at full strength at all times, maintaining stability, and encouraging tenure among your people through strong leadership. Keep a "bench" of qualified salespeople, so you are prepared when the need arises. IX. TRAINING From time to time, you will be called on to participate as an instructor in the basic training course, certification program, seminars, and surgeon workshops. Keep abreast of current surgical techniques, and teach such techniques as required by the company to district members. Teaching of sales and operative techniques to your sales force is ongoing. X. PROGRESS REVIEW OF SALESPEOPLE It is your responsibility to let your people know regularly where they stand, good or bad. Accordingly, progress reviews take place on an ongoing basis during regular field visits and formally during "Plan and Review" at the end of each quarter or when necessary. XI. COMPANY PROPERTY AND RECORDS In the event of promotion, resignation or termination, it is your responsibility to affect the immediate return of company property issued or loaned to the salesperson for demonstration purposes, records and account information for the territory. XII. COMPANY STANDARS AND IMAGE In all of your dealing, keep in mind that you represent the company. It is your responsibility to "protect and enhance our companys image with our customer". You will succeed in your efforts by keeping high standards for yourself and your sales force, by acting professionally at all times and demanding professionalism at all times from your sales team |
