With over 57 million unique visitors a month, IMDb is the worlds largest movie database, featuring over 2 million actors and filmmakers as well as over 1 million movies from 1890 through 2009. We are looking for software developers who want to build the next generation of film festival submission and festival management software. While working with other Amazon.com and IMDb.com developers, you will use state of the art technologies to build scalable, reliable systems that are used by millions of customers a day. If you like working with other smart people, still have your college data structures book, know the difference between a class and a closure, thrive on learning new programming languages and tools, and love solving hard problems with software, we want to talk to you. Desired Candidate Profile: * 3+ years enterprise software industry experience * Solid Linux and/or Unix experience * Object-Oriented Design and implementation skills * Experience with a scripting languages (Perl, Ruby, Python or PHP) * Has build web applications using Apache, Jetty or Tomcat * Interested in and/or experienced in Scrum or Extreme Programming * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent; Masters Degree preferred (or a related technical discipline) Applicants only: recruiters must not submit on behalf of other people through this link.
