Department Manager, DPS![]() Department Manager, DPS OTHER: ? Encourages and provides a strong customer service environment by ensuring every customer is greeted and offered assistance as needed. ? Performs complete management of the DPS Department. This includes sales growth/plan attainment, training and development, cost management, organization. ? Observe, coach and provide feedback to associates on process and policy ? Achieve departmental and store established goals for planned sales and profit. ? Provides input and feedback for the completion of performance appraisals, and assists with the delivery as well as the developmental feedback to the associate. ? Participates in the interviewing and selection process of newly hired associates who will be assigned within the DPS department. Customer Service Department: ? Manage and direct DPS operations and supervise DPS associates to ensure fast and easy service for our customers. ? Ensure appearance and daily operational standards of the DPS are maintained. ? Trains all DPS associates on register procedures, as well as customer service and product knowledge training designed for the DPS. ? Completes and audits paperwork and quality control of the department. ? Cross-trains associates as determined necessary by the management team. Sales: ? Ensures merchandise presentation guidelines are met, including marketing for the department. ? Completes all related training for the DPS department, and works towards development of DPS associates to promote within the department. ? Trains all DPS associates, and assists with the cross training of store associates. ? Provides a strong selling culture within the DPS department, ensuring the total solution is offered to all customers. Store Support: ? Manage the daily DPS checklist receipt process, to include communication of sales goals, and directions of activities daily. ? Implement and maintain counter mats, and marketing initiatives for DPS. ? Process vendor orders, keep DPS supplies on hand, and follow-up on vendor disputes. ? Monitor, update, and change DPS signage as communicated by RM, or Store Portal. ? Complete self-audits as needed to ensure compliance of operational and departmental standards, as outlined in the Loss Prevention and RM audits. ? Responsible for merchandise presentation, to include bag stuffers, offers, and daily Site recovery |
