Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to repair all computer-related components associated with store-level technology. Frequent independent judgments are essential.

Experience / Requirements:
* Repair all front-end and pharmacy computer systems and electronic equipment (e.g., office computers, registers, terminals, printers, GNC-related systems, voice response units, etc.) to meet required functionality for each component with 97 percent or higher accuracy.
* Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and to devise solutions for the repair of broken or discontinued/outdated equipment and components.
* Establish a service-oriented environment and good working relationships with all Field Technical Support team members to aid in open communications and rapid problem resolution.
* Maintain properly repaired equipment inventory levels (by component) to ensure sufficient functional equipment to support Project Technician and Field Technician activities.
* Assist with Field Technician training as it relates to hardware and software issue resolution.
* Maintain accurate records for all repair work completed on equipment (by asset number) and evaluate the future efficacy of the component based on repair history.
* Keep up to date with repair techniques and assist in the development of new repair procedures.

Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus two (2) years experience in computer repair; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
