Sr Principal Information Systems Security Advisor![]() Req ID 26894BR Title Sr Principal Information Systems Security Advisor Location VIRGINIA Falls Church Job Duties and Responsibilities ManTech Security and Mission Assurance is making America stronger by supporting and securing critical missions. We are expanding to meet the complex needs of our clients and would like to consider your talent! Reports directly to the Vice President, Training Division, Operations and Security Sector. Will serve as the MSMA Subject Matter Expert, course developer, and principal instructor for all aspects of Information Assurance and Certification and Accreditation training courses, primarily related to the Non DoD and Intelligence Community Federal agencies, State, local and commercial entities. As required, will provide surge support to MSMA contract and mission requirements. Will assist in the capture and development of training opportunities related to IA and C and A. Secret Security Clearance required. We partner with our customers to deliver the best solutions while we recruit the most talented and experienced professionals. Qualifications Mandatory Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer or Information Systems. Minimum ten years of experience in Information Assurance and Certification and Accreditation, with a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience specifically related to the Federal government (Non DoD/IC) or commercial environments, using NIST and DIACAP publications. Experience with NIST SP 800-53 documents required. Must have hands-on experience in implementing NIST 800-30, 800-37, 800-53, and 800-53A guidelines. Awareness of current information security issues and the ability to interpret the requirements of relevant policies and standards set forth in NIST documentation, specifically, 800-37, 800-53A, FIPS 199/200, and 800-30. Must have instructor experience and be familiar with training development processes. Experience with developing Security Test and Evaluation Plans and analyzing the results of security test activities to evaluate the existence and effectiveness of 800-53 security controls Knowledge of NIST in regards to how it applies to FISMA reporting. Experience with DCID 6/3 (CandA of Protection Levels 1-4) Experience in POA and M development Must have excellent managerial and administrative skills and demonstrate the highest levels of oral and written communications skills. Experience with MS PowerPoint and MS Access. Secret Security Clearance required. Desired Qualifications Familiarity with cross-domain solutions Hands-on experience with RMS and Trusted Agent FISMA to develop CandA related documentation and track POAandM and vulnerability status CAP (Certification and Accreditation Professional), or CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) Additional Qualifications Successful candidate will have completed a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
